"Could you go get a different dress?" Rose asked the lady as she left the room, nodding. "You haven't stayed the night yet!?"

Ellie shook her head. "I just live a couple apartments down... It just seemed silly..."

"Silly!? Back at camp Parker and I slept only a couple cabins away and we slept together. Not, slept-slept together, but legitimately slept. We were 16."

"I didn't mean it like that." Rose said. "I was just thinking you two should take your relationship to the next level. But I shouldn't have pried, sorry." Rose got into the new dress the lady brought this.

Rose nodded as the lady zipped her up. "Yeah, I understand." She turned around and looked in the mirror. She was speechless.

Rose was grinning, some tears in her eyes. "Oh my gosh...." She whispered.

Ellie smiled. "I think it's perfect," she said, rubbing Rose's arm. "But let's show Brian anyway, just so we know."

Ellie wasn't sure to react. Yeah, she was happy for Rose, but this was just a bit odd. Oh well. She knew Rose was odd. "Yeah," she said and hugged back, not quite so tight.

Ellie nodded and opened the door. She walked out and sat down by Brian, waiting for Rose to come out.
