Ellie's Flat

Ellie walked in after her night classes and went right to bed. She woke up the next morning, and went through her daily routine. Shower, do her hair, put on a little make-up, do a little homework, and then went to start a nice breakfast.

I walked down the street to Ellie's flat my coffee in my hands knowing perfectly well that she didn't keep any. I went up the stairs and knocked on her door.

Ellie went to the door and opened it for Brian. "Oh look, you're just in time for breakfast!"

"Hmm smells lovely what are we having?" I asked and stepped in

"Eggs and toast," Ellie said, closing the door behind him.

"Tea?" I asked and hung my jacket on the coat rack. I slipped off my shoes.

"Yep," Ellie said, looking at the teapot. She put the eggs on a plate and placed the toast next to it. She put the plate on the table for Brian and started on a second set of eggs. "So did you get anything done last night?" she asked.

"Cleaned a little bit" I said and shrugged. "Wrote some more book" I said and sat down at the table. "It looks lovely" I said and smile at her.

Ellie smiled and as she waited for her eggs to cook, she poured him a cup of tea.

"Thanks" I smile. "How did your classes go last night?" I asked.

Ellie shrugged as her phone vibrated. She pulled it out and read the text from Parker.

Get on Skype, quick.

"Hm. Parker wants me to get on Skype." She looked at her eggs and frowned. She turned off the heat and put a lid on it. "Kay, let's go in the other room and use the computer."

"Oh..." I said my mouth full of eggs and toast...."All right then" I swallowed and wiped my mouth.

Ellie walked into the other room and sat at the computer. She clicked on Skype.

I followed her and sat next to her.

Ellie closed the computer. She turned to Brian. "You can go eat now."

I grinned. "Oh good" I said and jumped up.

Ellie laughed and walked back over to the kitchen.
